The Journey Continues

Originally, this post was going to be a goodbye, an end to this blog. I couldn't see the point in continuing it because no one was reading it. I sent the link to lots of people, but clearly, there was no interest.

I started this blog for a writing course, and I never intended posting after the final class. The idea was to work on my writing and improve it. I have no idea if, after 11 posts, there is an improvement in my writing and it doesn't matter.

This has become a diary of my exploits in the kitchen, an almost weekly record of what I am doing and learning. I often see potential for a blog when I'm working in the kitchen though not yet ready to prepare a blog for posting. I have discovered that using this journey for my writing assignment, I am preserving that potential and creating material for future blogs.

The journey grew from the writing and the writing recorded the journey. I think I'll continue with both as it's been fun. I may even go back and add some pictures.
